The Gator Group

In 1986 I lived in Florida and later in Hollywood, California. There I did set up The Gator Group . The Gator Group was designed after Hans-Werner Richters famous German "Gruppe 47", a group of writers and artists who met to discuss and develop their new work and art.

What "Gruppe 47" was for writers, the Gator Group should become for all kind of talent related to movies and video. As I lived and worked for the years to come in the US and in Germany and travelled a lot we very soon had contacts in many countries and we worked and shot in the US, Germany, France, Hawaii, England, Spain, Italy and other countries. The Gator Group never was a company and never became business it always was a Group to set up new projects and set up relations with talent all around the world. If you look at our credits it never says: Copyright by The Gator Group. In my case in most - not all - but most cases you´ll find in the credits: "Copyright by Michael Huck" or who ever was involved and owns the copyright. So actullally the Gator Group never existed in the real world, but actually is still here probably for a long, long time. I am retired now but you will find my old videos still on vimeo and in the nightmarish world of dreams The Gator Studio appeared with even new productions, now produced by Mr. Al Gator himself, who once had been a comic book character who came to life.

The Gator Studios

When I decided in 2025 to retire in 2026 a strange thing happend: Mr. Al Gator, the comic book character I had created some decades ago appeared out of nowwhere with a new Movie Studio producing KI, computer generated entertainment.

So it seems there will be new Gator videos and entertainment with - or without me. So for me it is time to say Good Bye and retire and I wish you much fun with Mr. Gator and his new studio.

Gator Florida Lodge 237

There are strange rumors saying there is a secret Gator Lodge in Florida, Number 237 (movie maniacs probably can figure out with gator-cabbalistics what this number means. Rumors say, this secret lodge has secret members all around the world in movie studios, tv-stations and other haunted places. Of course, noone really can say if those rumors are true or not...What of course is certain: The G obviously means: Gator!
